Little Series
Installation
The work during this period seeks to understand and recover images and emotions lost over time, inspired by the reluctance to let go of active memories and traumas that are not yet clearly defined but disturbing. The starting point of the work is to intuitively capture an intimate or familiar element from objects and nightmares in my memory. Above all, my childhood hallucinations and nightmares are at the core of this process. The emotions are extremely strong when I accidentally see or think of an object that instantly pulls me back to a moment in my nightmares. It is particularly important to capture these moments and redefine them. In the process of reconstructing memories, I am always aware of the subjective and illusory nature of memories - they are not fixed, but constantly transform over time and emotions, and are deeply influenced by different times and my own experiences. The transformation of memories comes from changes in situations and emotions. Therefore, it is necessary to question the memory itself and explore the deeper meaning behind it. The first trace of memory is a feeling, and when facing these memories, the accuracy of that feeling is crucial. My pain is also part of the work. I will let my installations be redefined and processed by me, and design them in my camera style. Their participation is not only a way to recreate memories, but also a way to deepen our relationships with each other.
